Rules & Classes
Premium Hooligan: 750cc and larger production twin. No frame or swing arm race improvement modifications. 19” tires. Must be 1986 or newer. Must be 18 Years old to participate. Can not ride a Hooligan in any other class. Must be 24 months removed from last pro race.
JV Hooligan (Trophy Class): 750cc and larger production twin. No frame or swing arm race improvement modifications. 19” tires. Must be 1986 or newer. Must be 18 Years old to participate. Can not ride a Hooligan in any other class. Must be 24 months removed from last pro race.
AA: Top level amateur or licensed Pro. Participants can not race in any other class. 250cc and larger. 19” flat track tires only. Must be 16 years old to participate. Bikes must be adult frame.
Open Women’s: 250cc or larger. 19” tires. Must be 12 years old to ride a 250cc/14 years old to ride a 450.
Open 50cc: Shaft drive 50cc or Honda 50cc chain drive only. No KTM Jr or Sr. 4-7 years old.
**SOLD OUT** Vintage: Must be 1981 or older. Rider must be 18 years old. Rear brakes and catch cans for any potential leaks are mandatory.
Masters: Rider must be 60 years or older. Any race legal motorcycle is allowed.
Women/Open/JV Boone: Pull start. Riders must be 18 years old.
**SOLD OUT** Open Amatuer: Rider must be 12 years old to ride a 250cc, 14 years old to ride a 450.
Open Youth-Riders are 9-12 years old to ride a 63cc-85cc, 79-150cc four stroke motorcycle.
Stacyc Mini-12: Rider must be 4 - 7 years old. 12" max wheel size for electric/motorcycle, no pedals. AMA Membership required.
Stacyc Full-12(16e,18e,20e): Rider must be 7-12 years old. 16" minimum wheel size for electric/motorcycle, no pedals. AMA Membership required.
**SOLD OUT** Maddawg: RIder must be 18 years old. Motorcycle is aircooled, two-valve, one cylinder, four stroke, max size 200cc.
Chicken Rick’s Step-Thu Scooter Class: Rider is 18+ years old. Motorcycle must have floor boards, no pegs. Rider must be able to “step through" the frame to ride. Unlimited engine size.
Goofball: Must apply and agree to wear a costume.
Rules/Waiver: (riders check off that they have read these)
All other rules per the 2026 AMA Sports rulebook. Please be familiar with Flat Out Friday supplemental rules. No Knobbies allowed. All bikes must have a kill switch and a catch can for coolants. Kick stands, front brake levers or calipers are removed.
- No knobbies or slicks.
- If you damage the track with water, gas, oil, antifreeze or display poor sportsmanship, YOU WILL BE BLACK FLAGGED! The referee can disqualify riders due to too much smoke or oil. You will be asked to leave if your riding is a danger to others. Make sure your bike and soul are in good riding condition.
- Gasoline is not allowed in the building. Motorcycles must be filled with gas outside of the building. DO NOT RUN YOUR MOTORCYCLE INSIDE THE BUILDING WHEN NOT ON THE TRACK!! Wait until you are instructed to start your motorcycle.
- All bikes must have a catch can for coolants
- All pits must have their own fire extinguisher.
- All bikes must have cardboard under their bike when it is stationary.
- No electricity is provided. No gas powered generators are allowed inside the building. Battery powered electrical sources are permitted.
- Riders and bikes will enter the Fiserv Forum on 550 West Highland Ave.
- Heats will have 6 riders per class, up to 12 in a Semi and Main.
- Starts are off a green light, in case of a light malfunction, races will start with a green flag.
- No alcohol in the pits.
- All riders must wear full-face helmet, gloves, boots that cover the ankle and long sleeves.
- All bikes must have headlight, tail lights removed, or covered with tape.
- Damage to the concrete will not be tolerated. The left footpeg must be foldable and taped. NO BURNOUTS inside the arena.
- Rider’s left boot must be covered in carpeting or tape.
- All riders must have a current AMA membership. All riders, even AA riders must have Minor Release form signed if under 18 years of age.
- All persons in the pits must sign a liability waiver.
- All purse money will be announced at the event.
- No exchanges. You will be issued a full refund, minus fees related to Ecommerce, up to 96 hours of gates opening. You can not give your spot to someone else!
- No whining
- No pros in amateur classes.
- Flat Out Friday does not pay show up money to Pros.
Fun Class Registration
Classes:
Electric Monowheel, Scooter or Electric Skateboard: Participants must be 18 years old at the time of the event to participate. An Electric Monowheel comes in multiple forms. All are allowed. Electric skateboard means exactly that, four wheels, no internal combustion power of any kind. Participants must have a valid AMA membership.
Kids Bicycle: Kids under that age of 12, can take a few laps around the track on a human powered machine. Guardian must sign appropriate waivers on the day of the event.
Adult Bicycle: Participants must be 18 or older and on a two wheeled pedaled powered vehicle.
Goofball: Please submit your idea in the last tile.
Motorcycle Sherpa Suits: Must race in a suit made in India or Nepal.
